 ESAN AKUGBE FOR GOOD LEADERSHIP UNITY FORUM, ISSUES STERN WARNING TO ALHAJI MUSA SHEHU ISIWELLE FOR ENDORSING CLEM AGBA

Our attention has been drawn to the half-baked endorsement for Clem Agba for the 2024 Edo Governorship Election by one Alhaji Musa Shehu Isiwelle. This is a clear-cut betrayal and sabotage of Esan people by their son. Alhaji Isiwelle's action is akin to the biblical story of how Esau sold his birthright for a plate of porridge. We have eminently qualified candidates from Esan Extraction, but Alhaji Isiwelle decided to sabotage the common interest of Esan people. 

We are issuing a stern warning to Alhaji Isiwelle on his half-baked and concocted endorsement, he should steer clear from sabotaging his people; his endorsement for Clem Agba has shown that he has no integrity and the people of Esan have now known his real character as a betrayer. We want to also extend our warning to other Esan sons and daughters to avoid the destructive path of Alhaji Isiwelle, whose stomach is placed above the interest of his people, and stay true to the Esan Aganda for the emergence of Edo Governor. 

Once again Esan Akugbe for Good Leadership Unity Forum is a non-political, socio-cultural group that is aimed at ensuring good leadership and governance, also making the government of the day accountable to the people, above all foster unity and peace among Esan sons and daughters. 

We deemed it fit to issue this statement to the public because it is crystal clear that the entire Esan people/land  has been marginalised from governance from time immemorial and we wouldn't fold our arms and let those that don't mean well for our people, sabotage our collective interest. We have constantly enjoined other senatorial zones to support Edo central for the emergence of Governor from Esan extraction, come 2024.

Breaking: Ambrose Alli University dismisses 13 staff, demotes others for corruption, misconduct*   _*... more cases to be reviewed by Special Intervention Team*_  The University Staff Disciplinary Committee (USDC) of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, has said that 13 staff of the university have been dismissed for various cases of misconduct. The Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Asomwan Sonnie Adagbonyi disclosed this while presenting the Committee’s Report to the Chairman, Special Intervention Team, Andrew Olotu, at the Government House, Benin City. The report, according to him, contained the findings, recommendations, and/or actions taken by the USDC regarding charges of misconduct, gross misconduct, and other unethical practices levied against some academic and non-academic staff of the university.
